Calling Members to Serve

The Board of Directors is planning for 2023 and will soon be announcing openings on both the Executive Board and the Advisory Council.

The Executive Board will be expanding in 2023 from 9 to 13 members.

As a working board, members are expected to serve on at least one committee, attend monthly board meetings and organization functions, contribute to the organization’s growth through solicitation of new members; introduction to businesses who could contribute financially to the organization.

The Advisory Council is made up of individuals who are interested in contributing their time to grow the organization and its resources through assisting in membership development, corporate sponsorships, or other committees of the board.  The Council meets four times a year, and requires full membership plus an additional contribution toward organization operating expenses (minimum $100).

If interested in either opportunity, please watch your email for information about how to apply or nominate another individual.   If you wish to discuss with the nominating committee before committing, please send an email to info@nashville.impact100council.org

We are grateful to our corporate sponsor, Vaco, for sponsoring our All Member Mixer on September 8.  Here is a little about the organization.

Vaco is a premier talent and solutions firm. Vaco connects people to their dream jobs and helps companies of all sizes find talent to grow their businesses.

At Vaco, we can help companies solve complex technical business problems or help you hire a new receptionist. Whether your talent related problem is large or small, we can help. The Impact100 Nashville members can utilize our recruiting services across IT, Finance and/or staffing to help support us. In addition, if you are looking to make a career change, please reach out to us and we can connect you with companies that are hiring in TN and across the country!

Why did Vaco choose to be a corporate sponsor for Impact100 Nashville?

Impact100 is a wonderful way to connect with like-minded members across the greater Nashville area, while simultaneously making meaningful contributions to improve the lives of our neighbors and to better our communities!

Is there a fun or interesting story about your company you like to tell?

Vaco was founded in Brentwood, TN in 2002. Vaco (va – cō), means, to free oneself (Latin). The Vaco story begins with three rebellious veterans of bureaucratic “Big 4” accounting and staffing mega-conglomerates. Together, they set out to build a new kind of recruiting company: a place where the best and brightest would be free to reach their full potential, and where the most brilliant and passionate outlaws would happily choose to spend their entire careers. The mentality is that we all retire here!
