Dear Impact100 Nashville Members and Friends,

We hope you are staying safe and healthy and enjoying the summer weather. We have some exciting news and
plans to share.
We are 90 members strong!

At the Big Reveal event, we announced that we raised $85,000! However, we had several new members join after that, so the amount of our award in 2020 is a robust $90,000 --- the largest amount ever awarded in a single grant by Impact100 Nashville.
Thank you to all of you who renewed and welcome to our new members.
Grant Letter of Intent Window has Closed!

100 non-profit agencies submitted a letter of intent for this year's grant in the category "Ending the Cycle". Because of the large number of applications, the grant review committee has been split in half. Each group will score half the grants, and a total of 10-15 will be selected by July 24 to submit a full grant application. We are humbled by the interest from the Nashville greater metropolitan area non-profit community. We look forward to the day when our membership has grown to the point where we can have an even bigger impact and award more than one $100,000 grant.

Events Announced!
Our active membership drive is over for this year, but we still welcome new members throughout the year. Dues paid now will be applied to 2021, which means you are not eligible to vote this year, but are invited to attend all events. So, if you know someone who said they want to join next year, encourage them to pay now and participate in all of our events to get to know us!

This summer we are planning 3 virtual events that will be a mixture of informational, educational, and pure fun!

Tennessee Higher Education in Prison Initiative (THEI) is a nonprofit organization working to disrupt systems of harm and create opportunities for autonomy and success by providing college access to people inside Tennessee prisons, preparing students for skillful re-entry, and reducing barriers to continued education and achievement. THEI funds and coordinates on-site degree-granting college programs for individuals incarcerated in Tennessee prisons, leading to Associate's degrees in Business Administration and Political Science. We are hoping to expand our Board of Directors in the 20/21 fiscal year.
