We are amid our most ambitious membership campaign ever – with a goal of reaching 201 members in 2021! We hope to award at least two $100,000 grants this year and double our impact! Please help.
Recruit new women to the Impact100 Nashville network and earn prizes provided by a generous sponsor.
Here’s how it works:
Any paid member who brings in a new member (someone new to Impact100) will receive a $25 cash card. In fact, you will receive a $25 card for each new member you bring in, and if you reach 5 new members, you will receive an additional special gift.
Congratulations to member Cathy Lucas, our first member to earn a $25 gift card by referring new member Leanne Bottoroff. Welcome to Impact100 Leanne and thank you Cathy for helping grow the Impact100 network.
To let us know about a new member you have referred, please fill out and submit this simple form: Member Referral Form. As soon as your referral pays the membership fees, we will credit you with a new member. At the end of the membership period, we will tally up referrals and deliver the prizes you have won in early June.
To help you help Impact100 grow, we have prepared and attached to this email some materials to aid you in telling others about how Impact100 works:
A sample email. Use it as is or make it your own. It includes links to our website
A flyeryou can attach to an email or print and hand to someone
We also have printed postcards we can send you to distribute to your friends and network. Just write info@nashville.impact100council.org and tell us how many you would like us to mail to you.

New Grant Application Dates and Cycle
The open period for Grant Letters of Intent will begin May 31, 2021. The category remains “Ending the Cycle” – of deprivation, addiction, abuse, homelessness and the like. To ensure that organizations have adequate resources and infrastructure to effectively utilize a $100,000 grant, we have changed our eligibility requirements to require that the non-profit have an operating budget of a minimum of $500,000. This minimum operating budget was a preference in the past, but will now be a requirement of all applicants.
Our fall voting event will be aligned with all other Impact100 organizations around the country. We are hopeful to have an in -person event in November to choose our grant recipients. Watch the website and your email for details as the time nears.
Sponsor Highlight:
Over the next few months, we will reserve this spot to tell you a little more about the corporate sponsors that help Impact100 Nashville by offsetting our organizational expenses such as give-aways, printing, mailing, and events. We asked each sponsor to tell us a little bit about their organization; why they chose to be a corporate sponsor for Impact100 Nashville, and how Impact100 Nashville members could help support their business.
Hippo Technologies Inc. Impact100 Nashville board member Susan Groenwald, PhD, RN, is a member of Hippo’s Advisory Board.
Founded in February 2020, Hippo Technologies, Inc. is a virtual care company delivering a range of products and services for healthcare and medical education. Its approach is based on a new vision for how healthcare can be better designed, delivered and experienced.
At the heart of Hippo’s operations is the Hippo Virtual Care™ platform, which includes the latest in wearable computing. The Hippo Virtual Care platform features hands-free, voice-activated, head-worn devices and smart glasses, combined with HIPPA/GDPR compliant software allowing clinicians to communicate and videoconference in real time with remote colleagues and students, pull up medical records, and automatically access files and imaging during patient examinations, procedures, consultations and rounding. Hippo delivers a unique “through the eyes of the clinician” experience with the safety and convenience of remote care.
Hippo became a sponsor of Impact100 Nashville because of Susan Groenwald’s passion for making a difference in the Nashville community. We are excited to be able to support the great work Impact100 Nashville is doing and are grateful to Susan Groenwald for bringing us the opportunity. We are looking forward to watching the organization’s growth.
If you are in the healthcare market, we would love to talk to you about how Hippo can enhance your business.
