Join us for Canvas & Community, an evening that celebrates the creativity, connection, and powerful impact of Friends Life Community (FLC), a 2024 Impact100 Nashville grant finalist and $9,000 award recipient.
At this one-of-a-kind event, guests will experience the incredible artistic talents of the Friends—adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities—while also exploring the full scope of FLC’s transformative programs in personal growth, employment training, service learning, and more.

🖼️ An art showcase and sale featuring works from FLC’s Advocacy Through the Arts program

🧭 A guided tour of FLC’s space at 6:30 PM, offering a firsthand look at how FLC empowers adults with disabilities through a wide range of daily programs and services

🎨 An Interactive Art Station for guests to explore their creativity

🎟️ Special appearance by longtime FLC volunteer Jim Sherraden, legendary Hatch Show Print artist, with collaborative works created alongside the Friends
